Service Technician, Brooklyn - Coney Island, New York (1515 Surf)

1515 Surf Apartments is currently seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team! The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
Responsibilities
Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.
Accompany vendors in occupied units for services, including pest control, property inspections, etc.
Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices.
Assist in after-hours emergency situations.
Assist with night/weekend call duty.
Work during inclement weather.
Be willing to work weekends.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years' experience in Community Management.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, elevators, and energy management systems.
Experience using Yardi or other Property Management Software.
Plumbing/Electrical skills is a must.
Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms.
HVAC repairs - Active HVAC Certification & experience is a must.
Must be able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
