Landscape Maintenance Technician — Kohler Hospitality
Location: Kohler, WI

The landscape maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep, appearance, and overall condition of assigned exterior grounds across Kohler Company properties. This role involves skilled hands‑on landscape work, including mowing, trimming, pruning, plant care, turf management and installation, irrigation maintenance and repair, seasonal tasks, and assisting with holiday lighting installation while upholding high landscape standards to support an exceptional guest experience and contribute to the aesthetic and environmental goals of Kohler Company.

Specific Responsibilities

Perform daily landscape maintenance such as mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weeding, mulching, turf care, turf installation, irrigation monitoring, and seasonal clean‑ups to maintain high‑quality grounds and outdoor spaces.

Perform routine irrigation system maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting, adjusting heads, replacing components, and ensuring efficient water distribution.

Assist with planting, bed preparation, landscape enhancements, and seasonal decor—including holiday lighting installation, maintenance, and removal—to support Kohler’s design standards and elevate the guest experience.

Provide guidance and daily direction to seasonal staff to ensure efficient work, safe practices, and positive interactions with guests.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support year‑round landscape operations, including winter snow and ice management.

This is a full‑time position; shifts vary between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Hourly range: $18.80–$28.20. The specific hourly rate offered will be influenced by factors such as education and work location.

Skills & Requirements

At least one year of experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or related outdoor maintenance work.

Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.

Ability to obtain WDATCP Category 3.0 pesticide applicator’s certification within six months.

Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.

Work a flexible schedule, including periodic weekends, holiday lighting installation periods, and winter snow removal availability.

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in landscape management, horticulture, or related field preferred.

Experience operating commercial landscape equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles preferred.

Experience with turf care, turf installation, plant maintenance, seasonal landscape installation, irrigation system maintenance and repair, or holiday lighting setup preferred.
