Instructional Support Staff/AM Only
Job Brief:
Instructional support staff provides direct assistance to teachers and students to support classroom instruction and student learning. This role may include working with individuals or small groups, supporting instructional activities, and helping maintain a productive classroom environment.

Marlatt Elementary
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Good communicator.
Enjoys helping and working with students and educators.
All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
Salary:
$12.00 - $15.50/hr. Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor's degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.).
Hours Per Day:
Times may vary depending on the building assignment. Flexible hours depending on availability. Average workday = 4 hours.
Terms of Employment:
Positions available during the regular school year. New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.
Reports To:
Building Principal. Performance will be evaluated in accordance with the Board of Education’s policy on evaluation of classified personnel.
Job Duties
Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce materials introduced by the teacher.
Helps students master equipment or instructional materials assigned by teacher.
Assists with student supervision.
Check notebooks, corrects papers, supervise testing and make-up work assigned by teacher.
Other duties as assigned.
