Job Brief:

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED.
Ability to make responsible decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations promptly.
All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
Salary
Range:
$12.00-$14.50/hr. Level One Office Professional.
Placement within this range is based on relevant qualifications, including prior experience, education, and applicable certifications (e.g., bachelor's degree, advanced certification, bilingual proficiency, etc.).
Hours Per Day
Elementary hours: 8:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Times may vary depending on the building assignment.
Average workday = 8 hours.
Terms of Employment
Position available during the regular school year.
New employees go through a 45-day introductory period as part of onboarding after which benefits will begin, and leave can be used.
Reports To
Principal/Nurse
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on the evaluation of classified personnel.
Job Duties: Office Clerk
Provide clerical assistance to other personnel as time allows.
Keep cumulative records complete and up to date. Transfer files between buildings if needed.
Assist with tracking student attendance.
Answer the office phone and assist parents as needed.
Assist on Timeclock and Frontline platforms to support office/building staff.
Type a variety of material from rough draft or corrected copy.
Perform any other duties assigned by the principal.
Job Duties: Health Aide
Fill in for potential health needs of the school in absence of school nurse. Needs may include but are not limited to administer basic first aid care to students, maintain communication with parents and school nurse for continuity of care, document visits and occurrences, assist with administration of medication and treatment of procedures set in place by the school nurse.

Health is available for employees working at least 30+/week with a value of district contributions of $8,772 per year.
