Warehouse Associate

## Description**Objective****:**The Warehouse Associate’s primary function is to help maintain a clean and safe work area by assisting in all aspects of warehouse operations which include warehouse efficiency, product quality and inventory accuracy.**Accountabilities:*** Manage waste removal of plastic and trash receptacles on the shop floor.* Responsible for keeping the cleaning equipment organized and maintained and ready for use.* Keep picking areas clear and organized by removing and staging pallets.* Re-work all saleable products returned from out in the market by putting them in appropriate containers and returning them to correct locations in the warehouse.* If non-saleable product is found in the warehouse due to leakers or damage, it is sorted and reworked or disposed of appropriately.* All re-worked products will be keyed into system accurately for proper inventory adjustments.* Other duties as assigned by management.## Qualifications* Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving and organizational skills.* Passionate self-starter who can work independently as well as be a team player that works well with others, motivated to learn and communicates well.* Ability to do basic math calculations without the use of a calculator for handling inventory.* Ability to drive forklift* Ability to follow processes and work with a sense of urgency without close supervision.* Able to work from 8:00am-4:30pm or until finished, Monday through Friday. (Some mandatory Saturday overtime)* At least 1-2 years of warehouse and material handling experience preferred with pallets jacks and other PIT equipment experience.
