To make the best out of your work, we need you to:
Shape and drive the financial accounting processes of our German legal entity, including its branches
Take full ownership of statutory accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with HGB and IFRS
Oversee general ledger and subsidiary ledgers across multiple entities with accuracy
Ensure the timely preparation of monthly financial statements and related reports, including VAT reporting and transfer pricing documentation
Manage the process of annual financial statements and yearly tax declarations for our entities and assess tax implications in collaboration with external tax advisors
Actively contribute to business planning and group reporting while partnering closely with management on accounting and reporting topics
Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, legal advisors, banks, and insurance providers
Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation in financial processes
Lead, support, and further develop a small team
Manage selected supplier contracts, including insurance-related agreements
You are a good fit if you have:
5+years of solid finance experience in an international B2B environment
A BS/MA degree in finance, accounting, or a recognized professional qualification such as CMA
Strong knowledge of rules and regulations (HGB, taxation)
A proactive, hands‑on approach: you take the initiative, solve problems, and get things done
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues worldwide
Excellent organizational skills, resilience, and sense of responsibility
An aptitude for IT with advanced MS Excel skills and experience with SAP or another ERP system
Fluency in written and spoken English and German
