Drilling Warehouse Technician - Kuparuk Support Services - Warehouse
JOB SUMMARY
The Drilling Warehouse Technician plays a critical role in supporting drilling operations by efficiently managing warehousing tasks within the Kuparuk system. Responsibilities include the receipt, inspection, stocking, staging, packaging, crating, inventory issuance, shipping, and delivery of materials. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to execute tasks promptly to ensure seamless operational support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Must be willing and able to follow safe work ethics, practices, and behaviors.
Must understand the prioritization of safety, quality, and production, and be willing to work accordingly.
Candidate must be able to follow instruction from warehouse leads and foreman.
The position requires an excellent grasp of their immediate job function, as well as the ability to cross‑train in other areas.
Candidate may be required to function as the sole operator of a satellite warehouse, as well as operate light and medium weight trucks and forklifts to move material, pick up, and transport materials in the field, and move materials by hand onto shelves, pallets, etc.
Must have the administrative skills to develop and process large amounts of warehousing documentation.
Candidate must be able to perform, when necessary, all warehouse operator's duties.
Unloading vans with a sit down electric forklift.
Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
Support AES zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
A High School Diploma or GED is required.
A valid (U.S issued) Driver’s License is required.
A North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification is required.
The ability to work 84 hours a week on a 2x2 or 3x3 rotation is required.
At least three (3) years of experience working as a Warehouse Technician with a strong knowledge of standard warehousing principles and practices is required.
Familiarity with oilfield production equipment and its maintenance and standard parts is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Four (4) or more years of experience working as a Warehouse Technician specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environment is preferred.
Previous experience working in Inventory, Shipping and Receiving, Hazardous Materials Storage, Surplus, and/or Drilling is preferred.

Job requirements include a post‑offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), compliance with Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, passing a pre‑employment drug test (urinalysis and hair testing), and meeting physical demands of working in a remote, arctic environment. Candidates must pass a Fit‑for‑Duty Exam, complete a background check, and maintain an access badge. The position’s availability depends on continued operational needs after training.
