Job Overview
Do you have great peer support skills? Have you got an interest in working as part of a team supporting LGBTQ+ people experiencing poor mental health?
We require 3 part time Peer Support Workers to deliver peer support for LGBTQIA+ people experiencing poor mental health and to work as part of the Mental Health Team to provide community-driven Mental Health support in Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
Deliver peer support groups for LGBTQIA+ Communities.
Offer short‑term one-to-one peer support to LGBTQIA+ people experiencing or at risk of poor mental health.
Contract and Compensation
Salary: NJC scale 5 (points 11‑17) starting at £28,598 pro rata per annum for 15 hours per week.
This is a fixed‑term employment contract until 31 March 2028. Salary is reviewed annually.
Additional benefits: 5% workplace pension (on completion of probationary period) and requirement for a Standard DBS check.
