Job Objective
Provide administrative and document control support to the maintenance department, ensuring proper recording, tracking, and organization of work orders in order to contribute to the efficient and timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Record and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
Enter information into maintenance systems (CMMS) or databases.
Control and file technical documentation (reports, logs, manuals).
Support inventory control of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
Prepare weekly and monthly maintenance activity reports.
Coordinate schedules and communication among technicians, supervisors, and other departments.
Verify compliance with administrative procedures within the department.
Support internal and external audits related to maintenance.
Keep historical records of equipment and machinery up to date.
Job Requirements
Education
Must have technical degree or high school diploma completed.
Preferred: Administrative Technician, incomplete Engineering degree, or related field.
Experience
1 to 2 years in administrative roles.
Experience in maintenance, engineering, or production departments is desirable.
Technical Knowledge
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
Work order control.
Desirable knowledge of systems (SAP).
Basic knowledge of industrial or facilities maintenance (preferred).
