Bilingual Forklift
Role Purpose
Record, move, and deliver required raw materials to the production floor using a powered industrial truck (forklift).
Key Responsibilities
Supply material to production locations/departments per daily requirements via powered industrial truck.
Load and unload pallets and other materials from shelves and/or trailers; place product in warehouse racks.
Stack, package, label, and prepare material for shipment or movement to the next operation.
Pull orders from racks using a log.
Lift product (on pallets or unpalletized) as needed.
Monitor operation of powered industrial trucks and perform maintenance as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
Perform light quality control to ensure products go to the correct areas.
Conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity.
Keep work areas clean and orderly; perform general cleanup and maintenance of your work area.
Other duties as assigned.
Reporting & Interactions
Reports to:
Shipping & Receiving Supervisor/Manager.
Internal interactions:
Shipping & Receiving leadership; Human Resources; other internal partners.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 6 consecutive months of forklift operating experience.
Experience loading/unloading and placing product in warehouse racks preferred.
Physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, and lift for long periods.
Team-oriented; strong attention to detail.
Must be bilingual in Spanish and English.
