Part‑time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am – 5:00pm
Up to 28 hours/week
Overview
Embark on your journey as a Part‑time Warehouse Associate, where you are at the heart of our operations. You’ll handle the ebb and flow of products as they enter and leave the facility and dive into the world of inventory management for a leader in industrial distribution. This position is for our branch located at 6981 E Dominick St, Rome, NY 13440 and may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining branch inventory
Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle‑counting inventory
Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success
Required Position Qualifications
18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
Must possess a current full valid driver’s license issued in the United States and meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Highly motivated, self‑directed and customer‑service oriented
Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstration of core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Physical ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25–50 lbs and may weigh up to 75 lbs
Pass the required drug screen
Preferred Position Qualifications
Previous experience receiving, shipping, sorting or managing inventory
