Position Summary

The Site Services Technician executes the daily soft services tasks and provides general support to the facility.

They act as the liaison for service providers and perform minor facility repairs.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Liaison: Liaison and escort service providers as necessary, including Janitorial, Breakroom/Snacks, Pest Control, Shredding, Lab Coat Cleaning, and Recycling/Waste.

Inspections: Perform daily inspections of the facility.

Minor Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and facility upgrades (e.g., painting, shelves, pictures, bathroom and kitchen fixtures).

Event Support: Perform conference room setups.

Contractor Management: Manage contractors according to site safety procedures.

CMMS Usage: Utilize the CMMS to document work activities per procedures and leverage CMMS data to make informed maintenance decisions.

Backup Support: Backup and support Facility Engineers as needed.

Quality Systems: Maintain compliance with Quality Systems (Training/Procedures).

Maintain core vendor management with facilities related to vendors that are essential for business continuity inside and outside of lab space such as Janitorial, lab uniforms, documentation shredding services, lab recycling, pest control and more.

Perform conference room setup for all scheduled meetings booked in advance to meet the layout requested by the organizer for their desired setup.

Aid in pre‑event setup and post‑event cleanup in both conference rooms and break rooms, including breaking down of props used for setup.

Perform facilities maintenance as needed at the request of the facilities engineering team, including minor repairs and facilities upgrades such as painting, shelf installation, picture hanging, bathroom maintenance, breakroom fixtures and other requests.

Maintain a timely execution of service ticket requests from all internal users, both essential and non‑essential lab staff.

Assist in managing tidiness of all breakroom areas and restocking snacks/beverages as needed.

Collaborate with EHS team to spot‑check safety initiatives in keeping with site compliance throughout the day moving through labs and common areas.

Required Qualifications

3 years experience in general maintenance

High School Diploma

Ability to manage contractors and follow safety procedures.

Proactive approach to solving problems
