At Wood Violet Recovery, our nurses play a critical role in helping individuals through detox, stabilization, and early recovery. The work is fast-paced, structured, and incredibly rewarding. You’ll be supported by leadership that values clear communication, teamwork, and showing up for one another.
We always encourage nurses to tour the facility and meet the team, most people know pretty quickly if this feels like the right fit!
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts (3 days/week) | Rotating 3-week schedule

What You’ll Do
Complete nursing intake assessments and support detox treatment plans
Conduct daily nurse visits and monitor client health status
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Process labs and communicate results
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation (HIPAA & regulatory standards)
Respond to medical concerns with confidence and compassion
Support clients through detox and stabilization
Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and the clinical team
Communicate with families when appropriate
Coordinate hospital transfers and nurse-to-nurse communication
Maintain medical supply inventory
Participate in trainings and staff meetings
Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
What You’ll Bring
Active LPN license in the state of Wisconsin
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
Compassion, professionalism, and a team mindset
SUD/MH experience is a plus — but not required
