Military Mission Planner/Dispatcher P2
To provide operational flight planning, diplomatic clearance and aircraft/crew logistical coordination, information technology administration, and electronic navigational data management support for the 89th Operations Group Special Airlift Missions (SAM) fleet in all phases of mission planning and execution. This position is an onsite position located at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
Key Responsibilities:
The nature of the work is providing the timely and accurate accomplishment of notional mission airfield suitability research, international flight planning creation and European flow control route validation, official organizational diplomatic clearance messaging communications, and technical/logistical coordination for the 89th Airlift Wing’s Special Air Mission (SAM) fleet and unit.
The individual shall be part of a team and work in cooperative effort with other military and civilian mission planners and crew members.
The individual shall have technical knowledge of, and have enough experience to deliver timely, accurate aviation flight planning and mission planning support for USAF VIP aircraft.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Dispatch license, Pilots license, Instrument rating, or other Aviation certifications.
6+ years of experience as a Mission Planner, Dispatcher, International Trip Planner, or in a similar capacity within an airline/military operations center.
This position is an onsite position located at Joint Base Andrews, MD.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience as a Mission Planner, Dispatcher, International Trip Planner, or in a similar capacity within an airline/military operations center.
Degree in Aviation or Master’s degree in a related field of study.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $71,000.00-$91,000.00
