Selux Corporation is hiring a

Powder Coater/Line Operator (Hanger)

in their Highland, NY manufactuaring location.

This role plays a key part in our coating process by preparing and handling parts for powder coating, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the finishing line.

Pay Rate: $18-$19/hr.

Qualifications
Job Knowledge and Skills:

1-2 years of industrial coating system required in a manufacturing environment

Must be able to focus closely on details (attention to detail is critical)

Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk stoop, bend, and lift overhead.

Ability to move/lift up to 75lbs

Frequently required to use hands to handle objects

Ability to work in a hot environment.

Specific vision requirements include close vision.

Responsibilities

Hang and rack parts in preparation for the coating process

Ensure proper spacing and alignment of materials for quality coverage

Cleans paint lines, guns, and preventative maintenance

Report problems with quality, process, equipment and materials to supervisor

Inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies

Remove finished parts from the line and prepare for next steps

Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements

Must have the ability to take direction and work well with others

Must work within the confines of Selux’s PPE and Safety Policy, which includes, Safety Glasses, gloves and dust masks.
