Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required) ! The
Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required)
is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trailer fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. The
Trailer Technician with required Reefer Repairs (608 required)
will require a high level of proficiency and working knowledge working on Reefer units, PMs, and A/C. Note, you must have your 608. Required Reefer experience repairing the Refrigeration unit (Diesel Engine) on a Trailer. (Heavy-Duty Trailer Repair). Due to the nature of the repair flow, we could repair some Trailers (DOT Inspections and Repairs) if Reefer Units are in working condition.
Compensation
Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Monday - Friday 200 pm - 1030 pm $42.00 - $48.00 / hr DOE with 5 years + 608 Trailer & Reefer repairs

What the Trailer Technician with the required Reefer Repairs (608 required) role looks like
Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to Reefer vehicles
Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare the safety documentation required
Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
Remove or install various parts on vehicles
Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary
Perform other duties as required
What our ideal candidate looks like
Experience with Reefer units (Thermo King and/or Carrier)
608 Certification
Experience with PMs and A/C
Must have a valid Driver's License- Class C
Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
Proficient computer skills knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email
Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
Working Conditions
Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes, and noise.
Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, or other irritants
Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
Ability to move and position heavy objects
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and crawl to repair vehicles
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
