As a Visual Merchandising (VM) specialist for the DACH region, this role ensures consistent and high-quality execution of Jellycat’s brand across stores, tailored to the DACH market and consumer expectations.
You’ll be
Implementing Brand Guidelines – Ensuring stores across DACH follow VM standards while adapting to local requirements.
Store Visits & Audits – Conducting regular store visits across DACH to monitor and improve VM execution.
Training & Coaching – Providing VM training to store teams in German and English.
Launch & Campaign Execution – Managing product launches and campaigns in line with regional retail strategies.
Store Layout & Space Planning – Optimizing layouts based on DACH retail efficiency and customer flow.
Budget Management – Managing VM budgets for the DACH market.
Reporting & Performance Analysis – Analyzing performance data to drive VM improvements.
Supporting New Store Openings & Refits – Ensuring consistency across DACH store network.
You’ll have
A deep understanding of Jellycat’s brand DNA, tone, and visual language.
The ability to interpret global VM standards and adapt them to regional nuances.
Insight into how visual merchandising influences customer behavior and sales.
Familiarity with regional shopping habits and cultural preferences.
Expertise in layout planning, focal points, storytelling through displays, and seasonal transitions.
Knowledge of fixture types, lighting, signage, and sensory merchandising.
Understanding of local regulations around store safety, accessibility, and display standards.
Strong field execution capabilities with consistent operational rigor.
Solutions‑oriented approach to on‑site challenges.
Strong eye for aesthetics, color theory, and composition.
Proficiency in planograms, CAD tools, or VM software (e.g., MockShop, SketchUp).
The ability to coach store teams and communicate VM strategies clearly.
Experience in creating training materials and leading workshops.
Comfortable working with marketing, sales, and operations to align goals.
The ability to translate brand strategy into in‑store execution.
Use of data to measure VM impact on sales and engagement.
Reporting and performance analysis to inform future strategies.
