Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team at our Chatham, United States location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and delivering exceptional customer service.
Oversee daily store operations and manage staff during assigned shifts
Interact professionally with employees and customers to maintain a positive work environment
Handle cash management and financial transactions accurately
Answer phones and process customer orders efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
Assist in training and supervising team members
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performance
Resolve customer complaints and address concerns promptly
Assist in inventory management and stock control
Participate in implementing marketing initiatives and promotions
Qualifications
Proven experience in a retail or food service management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proficiency in basic math and cash handling
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus
Food safety certification or willingness to obtain one
Positive attitude and customer-oriented mindset
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
