Job Overview
The Production Technician II will work in the Spartanburg II operation—a state‑of‑the‑art coffee grinding and K‑Rounds packaging start‑up facility that follows TPM, Lean manufacturing, and High‑Impact Team principles. The role involves maintaining and monitoring production machinery to maximize output while upholding Keurig Dr Pepper’s high safety and quality standards, and applying manufacturing process knowledge to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture.
Schedule
Full‑time Day shift, 4x10 schedule with required flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Safety – achieve the site safety goal of zero injuries by acting as a role model, conducting behavioral safety observations, attending safety meetings, and participating in safety audits and risk reduction initiatives.
Quality – attain zero‑defect performance and enhance customer experience through training on quality control, Safe Quality Food, Good Manufacturing Practices and other regulatory requirements.
Production – foster a continuous improvement environment by identifying equipment and material issues, partnering with Maintenance and Quality on the Daily Management System, and leading or supporting cross‑functional improvement initiatives to streamline material flow, increase capacity, and reduce operating expenses.
TPM‑Based Production Environment
Support the site TPM journey and mentor others in the TPM process.
Actively participate in Kaizen activities and assist with line and business unit implementations of identified improvements.
Collaborate with maintenance on the execution of preventive maintenance.
MBU & High‑Impact Team Engagement
Work effectively with others and contribute to the team’s workload.
Communicate work status during shift transitions.
Show willingness to help teammates, exchange constructive feedback, and maintain respectful, professional interactions.
Maintain a positive demeanor and engaging communication style.
Continuously improve and avoid negative commentary.
Total Rewards
Pay starting at $28.25 per hour, increasing to $29.72 per hour after the 6‑month anniversary.

Requirements
2 years manufacturing experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and related software.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Basic mathematical and mechanical skills.
Ability to learn, train, and support MES and WES transactions.
Ability to stand on the manufacturing floor for significant periods and perform computer work occasionally.
Occasional domestic and international travel.
Experience with material batching and CIP/COP preferred.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds frequently without assistance.
