Dinuba Junior Academy is seeking a caring, dedicated, and mission-driven Elementary Teacher to serve students in grades K–4. The teacher will provide high-quality, Christ-centered instruction while nurturing the academic, social, and spiritual development of each student. This position focuses solely on classroom instruction and does not include administrative or principal responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons for a multi-grade K–4 classroom

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to promote student engagement and achievement

Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordinglyMaintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance

Create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

Establish clear expectations for student behavior and promote respect and responsibility

Foster a classroom culture that supports collaboration, curiosity, and a love of learning

Spiritual Development

Integrate Christian faith and values into daily instruction and interactions

Lead students in prayer, worship, and spiritual activities

Model Christ-like character in all aspects of teaching and relationships

Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities

Collaborate with school staff, church members, and the Central California Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Office of Education

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field

Valid NAD teaching credential (or eligibility to obtain one)

Commitment to the mission and values of Seventh-day Adventist education

Strong classroom management and instructional skills

Ability to effectively teach in a multi-grade setting

Strong collaborative schools and willingness to be active in the local churches
