What You'll Do

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas while maintaining awareness of visitor activity, access control concerns, and/or potential policy violations.

Support hospital and clinic operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and reporting of security-related concerns involving patients, visitors, staff, and/or property.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Required hospital vaccinations must be obtained and/or provided as a condition of assignment.

This position is located in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Applicants must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
