2355 - 700301 - Truck Driver II
Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A, and be able to pass a DOT physical and controlled substance test. Must possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate per DOT regulations.
Drive either a straight truck or combination vehicle with a GVW of 26,000 pounds or greater, transporting raw materials and finished goods.
Transport intercompany materials, products and equipment to various locations, as assigned.
Exercise reasonable care with company equipment.
Utilize extreme caution and courtesy on public roads.
Inspect vehicle for safe operation at beginning of every shift.
Maintain telephone and/or radio contact with Supervisor or assigned personnel.
Assist in loading and unloading materials by utilizing a pallet jack, fork truck, etc.
Position blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
