Responsibilities
Promote safety by prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Perform general physical activities such as using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials to support plant operations.
Assist co‑workers in servicing, repairing, and adjusting various equipment throughout the plant.
Inspect equipment and structures and perform daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
Operate heavy construction equipment or similar cleanup loaders in support of plant operations.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Skills You’ll Need
Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
Flexibility to work overtime, extended hours, and outside in all weather conditions while tolerating loud noises.
Mechanical skills, including knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
