Hoist Operator / Traffic Control - Nashville
Responsibilities
Protect the safety of the work crew and the public by directing motor and pedestrian traffic.
Operate hoist in a safe and controlled manner.
Prepare and set up all traffic plans and lane closures, including appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites.
Inform and coordinate all incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Adhere to all Axiom Builders Health and Safety policies and procedures, including PPE and clothing appropriate for the elements.
Perform general labor duties as assigned: sweeping, moving small equipment, supporting the Superintendent as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
At least two (2) years of previous experience in flagging or traffic control.
Valid Traffic Control Person and/or Hoist certification and training.
Excellent observation and communication skills.
Willingness to perform tasks beyond traffic management.
Openness to future opportunities and growth within the company.
