Description
We are seeking a System Administrator to be part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative and perform system administration functions.
Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers
Automate processes such as device hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and system monitoring of Windows and Linux servers
Climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices
Apply fixes, patches, and upgrades in a timely fashion
Troubleshoot server issues
Administer customer accounts
Deploy monitoring tools
Deploy applications and tools
Assist with escalated customer tickets
This position may allow for partial telework.
Clearance
A current Top‑Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Required skills
Mid‑level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge
Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems
VMware architecture administration experience
Knowledge of physical and virtual servers
Application administration and troubleshooting skills
Security+ certification
Desired skills
Hardware installation and cabling experience
Monitoring tools
Network experience (architecture, switch administration, troubleshooting)
AWS/VMs
