Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
This is a full‑time teaching position to begin on July 29, 2026. Grade level and teaching assignment to be determined. Applicants must hold or be eligible for Georgia Certification in Special Education (6‑12) and meet the Professional Qualifications for the position.
Qualifications
Credential:
Valid Georgia Credential or license authorizing service in grade levels and areas assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, including all courses to meet credential requirements.
Experience:
Student teaching, internship, or full‑time teaching experience.
Terms of Employment
190‑day contract. State salary schedule, plus local supplement.
Selection Procedure
Consideration/interviews will begin as soon as a list of qualified applicants is established. Selected candidates will be contacted for interviews. No notification will be sent to applicants except those who are selected for interviews.
