Job Description
We are seeking attentive and reliable Event Security support to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property during events. As part of our security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment by monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, and enforcing venue policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor event entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorized entry.
Patrol event areas and respond quickly to potential disturbances.
Provide crowd management and report incidents and escalations to the campus security team.
Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, staff, and emergency services.
Enforce venue rules and safety regulations to ensure a positive and safe experience.
Support event staff and management in any safety-related tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior security, military, law enforcement, or event experience preferred.
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress or emergency situations.
Excellent observational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
