**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is seeking **Aircraft Assembly Structures Mechanics (Level B or C)** to join our 787 production teams working in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on a **variable shift!*** Safety: Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines to protect ourselves, our colleagues, and our workplace. Safety is non-negotiable and must be integrated into every task we perform.* Quality: Maintaining rigorous quality standards in all deliverables, ensuring that our work meets or exceeds expectations and complies with all regulatory and company requirements.* Must successfully complete the new hire foundational training to obtain and maintain all required certifications.* Proficient use of a computer in a dynamic production environment.* Look up/read/comprehend electronic technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications.* Wear appropriate protective clothing/equipment determined by the task performed.* Operate various mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).* Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.* Apply chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes.* Inspect your work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris.* Work around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and exposure to constant noise.* Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).* Lifting and carrying up to 10-35 pounds.* Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).* Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head
