Aircraft Assembly Mechanic (Level B or C)

**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is currently seeking **Aircraft Assembly Mechanics (Level B or C)** to support the 787-production system as an **electrical, system, or seal/wing mechanic** in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on a **variable shift**.* Safety: Adhering strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines to protect ourselves, our colleagues, and our workplace. Safety is non-negotiable and must be integrated into every task we perform.* Quality: Maintaining rigorous quality standards in all deliverables, ensuring that our work meets or exceeds expectations and complies with all regulatory and company requirements.* Must successfully complete the new hire foundational training to obtain and maintain all required certifications.* Proficient use of a computer in a dynamic production environment.* Look up/read/comprehend electronic technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications.* Wear appropriate protective clothing/equipment determined by the task performed.* Operate various mechanical lifts (e.g. ladders, tiger and snorkel lifts).* Use various hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver multi meters, continuity testers.* Install various aircraft system components and wiring such as: tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, ducts, and interior components.* Route wire harnesses to supports, install connectors to receptacles and electronic components.* Fiber optic clean and inspection, light loss testing, routing and installation.* Apply chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes.* Work in confined space and respirator usage.* Inspect your work quality and check for Foreign Object Debris.* Work around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and exposure to constant noise.* Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).* Lifting and carrying up to 10-35 pounds.* Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting).* Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling, Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of head
