
Drexel Site Engineering Co-op (Fall/Winter 2026) - Limerick

Position Description
Site Engineering organization at Constellation’s Limerick Generating Station. Candidate will work in either Strategic Engineering or Design Engineering.
Strategic Engineering supports all aspects of station operation and maintenance and includes Electrical/HVAC Systems, Emergency Core Cooling Systems, and Balance of Plant Systems.
Design Engineering handles modifications, design changes, and technical issue resolution, comprising I&C and Electrical Design and Mechanical Structural Design.
Co‑op responsibilities
Analyze data using spreadsheet programs, review computerized data, compile data to support analysis, and prepare performance indicators and reports for senior station management.
Support system walkdowns, troubleshoot plant systems and instrumentation, conduct maintenance inspections, develop preliminary design change packages, and research equipment specifications for future applications.
Qualifications
Basic engineering skills with a practical application understanding.
Preferred majors: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology.
Experience level: Intermediate – some related work or volunteer experience/second co‑op; Advanced – previous related work experience/final co‑op.
Minimum GPA: 3.00 cumulative, 3.00 major.
Reliable transportation to the work site.
Position Location
Limerick Nuclear Power Plant – 3146 Sanatoga Road, Pottstown, PA 19464.
Compensation
Hourly paid with stipend.
Housing stipend offered to candidates living outside 50 miles of the work location.
Approximate hours per week: 40.
Travel
Travel required: No.
