
Radiologic Technologist - Up to $10,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our Northland Medical Center in Princeton, MN! This is a .7 FTE (56 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on the day and evening shifts, Monday through Friday with weekends, on-call and holiday rotations as needed.
*Allocated shift hours worked between 3pm – 11pm will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
The Hospital Radiologic Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging in a hospital setting. Responsible for providing quality age-appropriate patient care for inpatients and outpatients according to established standards of practice and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The hospital radiologic technologist supports all imaging procedures, surgical cases, fluoroscopy studies, portable x-ray, and general x-ray performed in the hospital. Provides assist in the opening of the supplies/equipment for surgical and special procedure cases as well as responding to codes, trauma activations and other emergent needs for imaging in an acute care environment.
Responsibilities

Performs examinations
Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
Verify patient identification and documentation
Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
Participates as an active team member
Orients and mentors new employees and students
Participates in department/facility process/quality improvement initiatives
Responsible for personal and professional development to ensure current knowledge required for position
Cleans and maintains rooms and supplies
Required Qualifications
0 to 1 year performing radiology services
ARRT Certification/Registration
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Preferred Qualifications
B.S./B.A.
3 years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting
