
Radiologic Technologist - Baylor - Up to $13,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN! This is a .9 FTE Baylor (work 48 hours per 2 weeks, paid for 72) position that will work every Saturday and Sunday from 7AM - 7:30PM.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.
Responsibilities
Maintains patient care
Performs examinations
Identifies relevant data from images accurately.
Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professional
Participates in creating a culture of patient safety
Demonstrates knowledge of emergency preparedness
Verify patient identification and documentation
Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol.
Ensures patient data integrity
Accurately completes computer functions; edits, scheduling, billing, status changes and image transfers in a timely manner
Accurate image marking and digital image manipulation and archiving
Participates as an active team member
Required Qualifications
ARRT Registration or Registration for modality specific (e.g. NMTCB, RDMS), or registry eligible with successful completion (Ultrasound within 18 months) within 90 Days
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
