
Part-time Accounting Assistant

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Part‑time Accounting Assistant to work onsite Mon‑Fri either 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM to assist accounting department. This role is responsible for day‑to‑day transactional accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency. This is a PART‑TIME, in person position based in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
Process vendor invoices, ensure proper coding, and maintain accurate payment records.
Maintain accurate supporting documentation for all transactions, entries, and reconciliations.
Accurately enter and maintain financial data within accounting systems (QuickBooks, AppFolio).
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or similar role preferred.
Experience with QuickBooks Online required.
Experience with AppFolio or similar property management/accounting software preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
