CNC Lathe Machinist
Indianapolis, IN | $26–$28/hr | 1st Shift Mon–Fri, 6:30 am–3:00 pm | Direct Hire

No mandatory overtime. Home by 3 pm every weekday.

A well-established Indianapolis manufacturer is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to join their shop floor team. You'll work on close-tolerance parts across a variety of setups — and be trusted to do it with minimal supervision. If you've got the skills, we have the schedule and the pay to match.

Your Schedule
Monday – Friday | 6:30 am – 3:00 pm No mandatory OT. Extra hours available if you want them.

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, and turning centers

Produce centrifugal pump components to close tolerances across a wide variety of part types

Read and interpret engineering prints including GD&T

Use precision measurement instruments — micrometers, calipers, and gauges

Perform preventative maintenance and equipment cleaning

Maintain quality and safety standards and records

Guide less experienced machinists when needed

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of machining experience (CNC and/or manual)

Ability to perform difficult setups and run machines independently

Proficient reading engineering prints with GD&T

Skilled with precision measuring instruments

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical certification a plus

Strong attention to detail and time management
