Overview
Maintenance Electrician
– Erie Foods International Inc., Rochelle, Illinois. This full-time position focuses on electrical maintenance and repairs of production equipment at facilities in Rochelle and Erie, IL. It is a multi-craft electrical-mechanical role with primary responsibility in electrical work.
Responsibilities
Electrical maintenance and repairs of production equipment at facilities in Rochelle and Erie, IL.
Qualifications
A combination of an Associate Degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field plus 2-3 years of experience as an electrician.
Knowledge of the NEC and relevant OSHA requirements.
Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions (e.g., equipment manuals, electrical prints, P&IDs) and to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
Prior knowledge of electrical controls (e.g., PLCs, motor drives, motor starters) and industrial electrical systems including three-phase (e.g., 480V, 220V) and 120V single-phase.
Ability to work well as a team member as well as independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to sit or stand for extended periods.
Experience in the food industry and its regulations (preferred).
Details
This is a full-time position that requires overtime as needed and on-call availability. The primary shift is 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, at our Rochelle facility.
$32.50/hr
minimum, dependent on experience. Benefits are offered.
