Certified Midwife/Certified Nurse Midwife, Clinical Instructor, OBGYN, Midwifery
Location: Stony Brook, New York
The Midwifery Division in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a full‑time, highly motivated, certified midwife desiring to provide equitable and inclusive patient‑centered care. Practice alongside a well‑established team of midwives who collaborate with a diverse health‑care team. Research and educational opportunities are available.
Qualifications
Required:
Possession of or eligibility for NYS Licensure, ACNM/AMCB Certification and a Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher).
Preferred:
Minimum of six months of postgraduate full‑scope midwifery practice experience.
Other Information
Non‑Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for overtime provisions of the FLSA. Anticipated start date: as soon as possible. The selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation. The Center is a Title II Crime Awareness and Security Act compliant institution.
