Job Description
The Minister of Youth & Music plans, prepares, coordinates and evaluates the youth and music ministries of the church under the direction of the Pastor. Duties include:
Developing & maintaining a youth discipleship ministry involving small groups and Wednesday night services.
Organizing youth activities such as camps, retreats, missions and fundraisers.
Leading worship during all church worship services.
Working with musicians to develop their talents and abilities.
Being available to church members for counseling and spiritual direction.
Job Requirements
Some prior ministry experience and a college degree are preferred but are not an absolute requirement. Applicants must pass a background check before being hired.
Compensation/Pay
$50,000-$55,000 annually based on experience and education
