Overview

Auto Offer: minimum 3 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required; MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN preferred
Responsibilities
Provide direct, evidence-based care to ER patients, including triage, initial assessment, monitoring, and timely escalation of care
Administer medications, start IVs, manage lines and drains, and perform procedures as ordered
Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and ancillary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and participate in resuscitation or advanced life support as needed
Document comprehensive, accurate charting in the electronic health record and ensure effective handoffs at shift change
Support discharge planning and patient education, and prepare patients for transfer or admission when appropriate
Maintain safety, infection control, and privacy standards; adhere to department policies and state regulations
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of ER or unit specialty experience in the submitted unit within the last 3 months
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
ER and ICU experience preferred, with potential floating to related units
MICN, NRP, TNCC, and CEN preferred
Ability to work night shift (1800–0630) and maintain performance in a high‑acuity, fast‑paced environment
Relevant travel experience and flexibility to adapt to assigned shift and unit needs
Current professional licensure as a registered nurse per state requirements
