Full-time:
35–40 hours per week, no weekends/on-call. 7:15 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Compensation:
$20–23 per hour, based on experience.
Grace Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician or experienced veterinary assistant to join the team.
Responsibilities
Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
Assist veterinarians and the medical team across all hospital functions to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
Communicate with clients regarding individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
Maintain relevant, comprehensive medical records using practice systems; obtain and update client health history and chart information.
Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skill Requirements
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) or CVT eligible; or experienced veterinary assistant.
1–2 years of clinical experience highly preferred.
Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
Team player attitude.
