Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Work Location: 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093
Work Hours: Full Time Mid-Shift (12P-12A) for 36 hrs./ week. Weekend and holiday requirements.

Requirements
Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program – required
Six (6) months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR Residency program – required
LVN-licensed vocational nurse – upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support – prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly required
Responsibilities
Collaborate with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiate action to meet patient needs
Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks
Collects data and reports significant findings to RN
Uses nursing model to obtain adequate data to initiate, implement and revise plan of care to meet patient, physician, and family needs.
