Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions, including exercises, activities, and programs
Utilize assistive technology and adaptive devices to facilitate patient independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in staff education and training programs to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
Must be a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a high school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of experience in occupational therapy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office software
