Licensed Veterinary Technician
South Shores Animal Hospital is growing and seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. Technicians play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care during outpatient visits and procedures. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing treatment plans, assisting during exams, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, and collaborating closely with our doctors to complete dental procedures. Technicians also provide clear and compassionate client education, addressing questions with professionalism and confidence.

Schedule
Flexible full‑time position. 4/10 schedule with availability needed for rotating Saturdays.

Benefits and Compensation

Compensation:

$25‑29 per hour, for each hour worked*

Bonus package:

$2,000

CE allowance:

up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum Qualifications and Skill Set

Current Licensed Veterinary Technician license in the state of Nevada

Proficiency in the following skills:

Venipuncture and placement of IV catheters

Administering injections

In‑house laboratory processing and microscopic evaluation

Anesthetic induction and monitoring
