Overview
Hampden Family Pet Hospital, Englewood, CO. Compensation: $18-$22/hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience. The final rate will consider skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Hampden Family Pet Hospital is a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner and seeks a warm, organized, and customer-focused Veterinary Client Service Representative to join the team. This role helps create a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate experience for every visit and acts as a key connection between pets, their families, and the medical team.
We proudly serve Englewood, Littleton, Denver, Aurora, and Lakewood, offering comprehensive medical and surgical services including acupuncture, orthopedic and laparoscopic surgery, and care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, and reptiles. We’re an AAHA-accredited hospital and a partner of the Canine Blood Heroes Blood Bank.
What You’ll Do
Greeting clients and pets with warmth and professionalism
Assisting new clients with registration and sharing expected wait times
Answering phones, emails, and non-medical inquiries with empathy and urgency
Scheduling appointments and diagnostics, and coordinating with referring hospitals to access records
Creating appointment reminders and rescheduling missed visits
Maintaining accurate client and patient information in hospital systems
Keeping the front desk, reception, waiting areas, and exam rooms clean and organized
Reviewing charges at checkout and reconciling the cash drawer accurately
Supporting teammates and contributing to a positive, collaborative work environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
Customer service experience strongly preferred
Veterinary experience (1+ year) is a plus but not required for strong customer-service candidates
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with basic accounting, payments, and cash handling
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
Schedule
Open availability, including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Ability to work rotating weekends
