Dietitian - Part-time or Per Diem
We are seeking a part-time or per diem Dietitian to join our dynamic care team at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, an award-winning nursing home in Sandisfield. As a Dietitian with our team, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and maintaining the quality of our dietary services.
We are a 57-bed all-male facility. Most residents are long-term.
Responsibilities
Assist in planning, organizing, and maintaining the quality of our dietary services
Monitor weights and weight changes, and provide nutrition intervention when necessary
Complete nutrition evaluations on admissions and weekly/monthly weight audits
Document all nutrition-related resident visits and create/update resident care plans
Provide point-of-service meal delivery and ensure proper temperature and serving time
Educate department staff in all aspects of dietary functions
Oversee menu planning, inventory management, and food delivery
Ensure quality and quantity of all food delivery and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
Must possess a dietitian license in Massachusetts
Current registration as a dietician by the Committee of Dietetic Registration
Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc. preferred
Additional Information
Competitive hourly rate between $38 and $60, depending on experience
Flexible schedule with hours ranging from 4 to 8 per week
