PRN Registered Nurse - Brain Stimulation - MUSCP

Overview
The ECT/ Saint TMS RN will oversee patient care from consultation through completion of treatment. Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, assessing orientation status, documenting status via EPIC flowsheets, performing chest port access/de‑access with sterile technique, managing medications, conducting intake for new and potential patients (allergies, medication reconciliation, chart review), obtaining prior authorizations for ECT and TMS, administering TMS and SNT treatments on the MagVenture machine using Magnus software, and following up with patients after treatment to plan next steps.

Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation), coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts, maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, and adhere to nursing standards of care.

Administer TMS treatments on various machines (MagVenture, Brainsway, Neurostar) and document progress notes.

Perform physical assessments, support patients throughout their treatment course, and supervise staff as needed.

Required Minimum Training and Education
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or Nursing License Compact.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Current South Carolina RN License or multi‑state Nursing License Compact; BLS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, and sit while performing job functions; bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, and use both hands and legs; perform repetitive motions; use a respirator if necessary; maintain 20/40 vision corrected; work in a latex‑safe environment; lift or carry up to 50 lbs unassisted; work in dusty or confined spaces as required.
