Requirements
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree
Must possess at least two (3) years of experience in HR Compliance, credentialing, background screening, HR operations or workforce compliance.
Knowledge of background screening processes, employment eligibility verification, and credential verification standards.
Experience conducting compliance audits and documentation reviews.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage detailed documentation and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency with HRIS systems, compliance tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or other regulated industries.
Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or compliance-related certification preferred.

The Credentialing Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the organization’s workforce compliance processes related to background screening, credential verification, and employment eligibility requirements. This role ensures that hiring and onboarding practices comply with organizational policies and applicable federal, state, and regulatory standards. Also, ensuring that Credentialing Team Members are trained appropriately to comply with departmental standards and practices. The Specialist develops and maintains credentialing procedures, conducts compliance audits of new hire records, and manages credentialing requirements across roles within the organization. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Legal teams to maintain accurate documentation, support regulatory readiness, and identify opportunities to strengthen workforce compliance processes.
The Specialist develops and maintains credentialing procedures, conducts compliance audits of new hire records, and manages credentialing requirements across roles within the organization. This position partners closely with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Compliance, and Legal teams to maintain accurate documentation, support regulatory readiness, and identify opportunities to strengthen workforce compliance processes.
