Overview
This full time Level 3 position is responsible:
For performing the technical and clerical duties in the Outpatient Pharmacy areas.
These duties are associated with providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services to ambulatory patients of UF Health Shands Hospital.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or EXCPHT status upon employment.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
All Pharmacy Technicians must be registered with the Florida Board of Pharmacy as a Registered Pharmacy Technician or licensed Pharmacist Intern prior to their first day of employment.
Must have current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or EXCPHT status upon employment.
In addition:
Must meet all requirements of a Pharmacy Technician Level 1, including required competencies.
12 months of Shands Pharmacy Technician experience 6 months of Shands Pharmacy Technician experience and one of the following: Two years hospital/institutional pharmacy or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently Demonstrate the ability to contribute to effective working relationships
Experience managing projects preferred Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation : Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
