Overview
This Ambulatory Pharmacist position is:
responsible for providing pharmaceutical care for patients of UF Health Shands Hospital and the University of Florida Clinics.
Will rotate duties between the Shands Outpatient and Medical Plaza Pharmacies
Must exercise professional judgment in evaluating all medication orders written for ambulatory patients.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Graduation from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy.
Previous experience in ambulatory practice and knowledge of insurance preferred.
Strong communication skills, able to operate a computer and interact in a clinic environment.
Pharm.D. and knowledge of a clinic specialty a plus.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Pharmacist, or eligible, in the State of Florida.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
