How This Position Supports The Department’s Vision
The Missouri Department of Revenue, Field Compliance Bureau is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as an Admin Support Professional. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations within the Field Compliance Bureau by coordinating administrative functions, monitoring workflow, assisting with system-related issues, and supporting staff with technical and processing inquiries. The position also includes direct supervision of two employees, requiring the ability to provide guidance, training, oversight, and performance support. The ideal candidate must be able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties Performed To Support The Department’s Vision
Provides supervision by managing employees’ schedules, timekeeping, and employee records while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Monitors daily workflow, performance metrics, and audit processing, including staging audits, processing refund claims, and ensuring timely creation of assessments.
Serves as a liaison for technical and system-related issues by researching problems, creating and testing system bugs, communicating impacts, and tracking resolution progress.
Supports team operations through high-volume communication, conducting monthly meetings, assisting with staff questions, and helping auditors, supervisors, and managers resolve processing issues.
Contributes to hiring efforts, updates procedures, and maintains required annual training.

Minimum Qualifications
One or more years of administrative assistant experience or four or more years of clerical experience
High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working with Government Premier system

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
Experience with system monitoring, workflow tracking, or technical issue coordination preferred
Work collaboratively with audit team
