Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting & Inventory Analyst to support financial operations, inventory management, and manufacturing reporting. This role works closely with the CFO/CEO, Bookkeeper, and Operations team to manage accounts payable and receivable, oversee inventory through Fishbowl, and maintain accurate cost and manufacturing data across multiple SKUs and warehouses.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys complex Excel work, inventory math, and financial analysis in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Support
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
Work closely with the Bookkeeper to ensure accurate financial records
Support financial reporting and analysis for the CFO and CEO
Maintain and reconcile financial data using QuickBooks Online
Prepare reports, summaries, and complex Excel spreadsheets
Utilize systems such as SAP, Proforma, Stripe, Cleo, and Lilypad for financial and transactional processes
Inventory & Manufacturing Management
Manage inventory within Fishbowl Inventory Management System (or quickly learn the system)
Oversee approximately 175 SKUs, each with unique components and formulations
Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all SKUs
Generate and manage Manufacturing Orders
Maintain and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across all products
Perform inventory transfers between multiple warehouses
Manage raw material inventory with vendors and maintain reorder points
Accurately convert dry weight components and liquid additives (high-volume calculations required)
Utilize ShipStation for shipping and order management processes
Reporting & Analysis
Prepare detailed inventory and financial reports for leadership
Analyze system reports and Excel data to support decision‑making
Ensure inventory accuracy, cost integrity, and alignment between systems (Fishbowl, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
Present data and insights clearly and professionally in meetings with leadership
Qualifications
Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
Experience with SAP, Proforma, ShipStation, Stripe, Cleo, and/or Lilypad
Experience with Fishbowl Inventory (preferred) or ability to learn quickly
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, multi‑layer spreadsheets, data analysis)
Strong math skills with high attention to detail
Excellent note‑taking and organizational skills
Ability to sit in meetings and present information professionally
Experience in a manufacturing or inventory‑driven environment preferred
Ability to manage complex data and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
